Mets’ Luis Robert Jr. joining Francisco Lindor on injured list
The New York Mets have been without some of their key players for the past few games, with the most recent being Luis Robert Jr., as he’s dealing with lower back tightness. Manager Carlos Mendoza noted that the injured list could be in play for him, and it looks like that’s where he’s headed, according to Chelsea Janes of SNY.
“Hearing Luis Robert Jr. likely headed to the IL today, per person familiar with his situation. Joins Lindor and Polanco on a growing list,” Janes wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
