Liverpool contacted over star’s possible exit after being immediately dropped by Arne Slot
Giorgi Mamardashvili could reportedly be on his way out of Liverpool – just one year after making the move to Merseyside.
The Georgian has been unable to oust Alisson as Arne Slot’s first-choice between the sticks this season.

Mamardashvili linked up with the Premier League champions following his 2024 move from Valencia.
Having remained on loan at the Spanish side last season, he made the switch ahead of the current campaign.
However, the 25-year-old has been limited to just 12 appearances across all competitions for the Reds.
Those include a run in the side between October and November after Alisson suffered a hamstring injury.
Mamardashvili has also appeared in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup so far this term.
Slot did hand him a start in last week’s Champions League last-16 first leg against Galatasaray, though.
But Alisson immediately returned to the starting line-up against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday after recovering from injury.
As a result, Mamardashvili was dropped from the side and returned to the Anfield bench, where he has remained for Wednesday night’s return leg with Galatasaray, which you can hear live on talkSPORT.
According to TEAMtalk, he could soon be on his way out of the door.
Several clubs have made enquiries to Liverpool regarding his availability in the summer.

It comes despite Mamardashvili having five years remaining on his deal, which expires in 2031.
Mamardashvili showing ‘patience’
The shot-stopper himself, meanwhile, has spoken of his willingness to wait for an opportunity at the club.
Prior to the defeat in Turkey, he appeared on the Reds Roundtable and discussed the need for ‘patience’.
Mamardashvili explained: “My ex-goalkeeper coach, Jose Manuel Ochotorena, when I was at Valencia told me I had to find a balance between ambition and patience.
“So I keep working hard and you never know when your chance is coming.
“It’s, of course, never easy because there is just one goalkeeper. But as I said, if I don’t play, I don’t mind – I have to work hard every day and that’s it.

“My time will come, for sure. Maybe not this year, but my time will come.
“For me as well [joining Liverpool], it was a bit longer [to wait] because I signed for Liverpool two years ago, almost three years ago and I had to wait last season until I came here.
“It was a really long one year for me, and now I am happy to be here.
“The most important thing for me was the support because I didn’t speak much English so for me, it helped. Mac Allister, Alisson as well [helped] and now I speak much better.”
Mamardashvili could be handed another chance to impress in the FA Cup next month.
Slot’s side travel to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City in the quarter-finals on April 4.
