Watch Lakers’ LeBron James blast past Rockets’ Kevin Durant for ageless slam dunk
Perhaps Father Time will one day come for LeBron James, but he certainly did not buy a ticket for Tuesday’s NBA playoffs matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets. The all-time great continues to step up amid the Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves injury troubles, as he transitions back into the “top guy” role. The 41-year-old looked quite spry, especially during a third-quarter sequence in which he bested a fellow legend.
James blew by Rockets superstar Kevin Durant and pulled out a stupendous reverse dunk early in the second half. The four-time NBA Finals MVP and four-time regular season MVP is not the same player he has been for most of his career, but he can still attack the rim like few others. Durant was reminded of that fact the hard way.
