Manny Pacquiao could feature on Floyd Mayweather vs Mike Tyson card on one condition
Manny Pacquiao could end up fighting on the same card as Floyd Mayweather vs Mike Tyson this autumn.
That’s according to BoxingScene, who have reported that Pacquiao could feature as part of an exhibition doubleheader should he fail to book a professional outing in the meantime.

Last September, Mayweather agreed to fight fellow boxing legend Tyson this year before signing to run back the most lucrative bout in the sport’s history with Pacquiao.
Mayweather vs Pacquiao 2 was originally booked for September 25, live on Netflix, but postponed indefinitely in June, with a January date now being targeted for the epic rematch.
The rematch was delayed due to a series of obstacles, but largely because Mayweather had also agreed to face Greek kickboxer Mike Zambidis, prompting a civil lawsuit from multimedia sports company CSI Sports Events.
CSI claimed a breach of contract, as the American was allegedly paid $4.65million in advances to promote the exhibition against Tyson and a second professional meeting with Pacquiao.
Mayweather vs Zambidis was then scrapped last month, although an official told BoxingScene that both parties are still trying to make the fight happen this summer.
That would then be followed by Mayweather vs Tyson in September or October, which could reportedly now also feature Pacquiao against a different opponent.
Speaking about the legal issues between Mayweather and CSI, one official said the aforementioned plan ‘would solve everything.’
However, that could all change if Team Pacquiao land an alternative professional fight ‘in the next couple of weeks.’
‘PacMan’ wants activity
Pacquiao, who returned to the sweet science in July 2025 aged 46 and drew with WBC welterweight champion at the time Mario Barrios, wants to remain active before rematching Mayweather.
CEO of Pacquiao’s MP Promotions Jas Mathur named Ryan Garcia, who snatched Barrios’ WBC crown last time out, and Rolly Romero as potential opponents.

In September or October
- MAIN EVENT: Floyd Mayweather vs Mike Tyson (Exhibition)
- Chief support: Manny Pacquiao vs TBD (Exhibition)
“It’s all on the table,” Mathur said.
“Ryan will fight Manny, Manny will fight Ryan. Rolly will fight Manny, Manny will fight Rolly.
“All of these people are on the table. It’s not an issue, but we have to focus on what’s in front of us right now.
“We want to break records.”
But Garcia is now scheduled to make the first defence of his title against Conor Benn on September 12 in Las Vegas.
What about Mayweather vs Tyson?
As for Mayweather vs Tyson, the exhibition is being planned for September 26 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, although nothing has been made official.

The fight was originally targeted for April in the Democratic Republic of Congo, until Tyson picked up a hand injury and it was postponed.
All that needs to happen now is for Mayweather to give the green light.
Mayweather has contested several exhibition bouts, against the likes of Logan Paul and Aaron Chalmers, since his last pro victory over Conor McGregor, which put his pro record at 50-0.
Tyson, meanwhile, lost to Jake Paul on his boxing return in November 2024 at 58 years old.
‘Iron Mike’ said he accepted the Mayweather fight to prove he’s the best boxer of all time.
