Jurgen Klopp’s agent releases X-rated statement over more new job links

Reports linking Jurgen Klopp with a move to Al Ittihad have been labelled ‘nonsense’ by his agent.

The former Liverpool boss has been away from the dugout since leaving Anfield in 2024.

Despite interest from a number of clubs in the previous two years, he has yet to return to coaching.

Manchester United and Chelsea have both failed in attempts to recruit the 58-year-old.

Klopp is currently working for Red Bull as their head of global soccer, a role he has held since the start of last year.

However, the German coach continues to be linked with a return to management ahead of next season.

Amongst the clubs said to be interested are Al Ittihad, who have identified Klopp as their ‘dream’ target, talkSPORT understands.

Klopp links ‘annoying’

His agent Marc Kosicke has now ruled out a move to the Saudi Pro League this summer, though.

Responding to the rumours linking Klopp with Al Ittihad, Kosicke told Winwin: “I am annoyed by all this bull****. It’s all annoying and nonsense.”

It is not the first time Kosicke has hit back at reports surrounding his client’s managerial future.

He previously revealed: “There is no possibility for Klopp to manage Al-Ittihad this year.”

Meanwhile, Kosicke also labelled links to Real Madrid ‘annoying’ as he ruled Klopp out of a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme had claimed he would appoint Klopp if he won the club’s election.

Riquelme ultimately lost the election to incumbent Florentino Perez, who is now set to hire Jose Mourinho as manager.

Klopp is currently under contract with Red Bull until the end of 2029.

Al Ittihad job

Al Ittihad are looking to appoint a new manager for next season after Sergio Conceicao’s exit at the end of the campaign.

The Portuguese coach had been in charge since October after replacing Laurent Blanc.

However, he was unable to mount a title challenge for the 14-time Saudi champions.

Instead, his side finished the campaign in fifth, 31 points adrift of champions Al Nassr.

Although Al Ittihad qualified for the AFC Champions League Elite, Conceicao left the club by mutual consent with two years left on his deal.
