The Nicky Henderson-trained Holloway Queen has been installed as a 14/1 shot becoming the best chance in the market for the British entries.

While the Ultima winner Johnnywho is close behind at 16/1, but still remains a strong contender in the Grand National on April 11.

The JP McManus-owned horse has a big chance after clearly improving after a wind op in January before his Cheltenham run.

The joint-favourites for the feature race also adorn the McManus green and gold silks, Oscars Brother and Win Some Lose Some.

Oscars Brother trained by Connor King is a hot contender for Aintree too, but could aim for the £500,000 prize at Fairyhouse where he’s 10/1.

These four runners are among 85 total entrants to the 2026 renewal.

Other notable entries include Hewick trained by Shark Hanlon, who won the 2023 King George VI Chase and featured at Cheltenham Festival in the Stayers’ Hurdle last week.

The official weights were revealed at trainer Tom Dreaper’s yard who has 25/1 shot Folly Master.

Dreaper could become the third general of his family to win the Irish National, following in his grandfather and father’s footsteps.

His grandfather of the same name has won the Irish National a staggering ten times including Arkle in 1964.
