Canadiens’ Josh Anderson drops ‘best’ truth bomb on Stanley Cup Playoffs in Montreal
The electricity of the Bell Centre when the Montreal Canadiens hit the ice for a Stanley Cup Playoffs game is second-to-none. It is one of the best atmospheres in the sport as 21,105 screaming Montreal hockey fans crowd in to cheer on their favorite team. It’s a feeling that motivates players to do great things in the playoffs, and one of the proudest members of the Canadiens is Josh Anderson, according to Eric Engels via X, formerly Twitter.
“Hard to describe the feeling with which Josh Anderson delivered these words last night: ‘You want to win in Montreal. This is the best city, the best team to be a part of, and you dream of doing it with this team, this organization,'” Engels posted.
Anderson is a bit of a polarizing player in Montreal, which sums up the fan experience in the hockey-mad city. Fans sometimes have issues with the power forward in the regular season because he doesn’t bring his game 100% night in and night out. However, it always seems like Anderson elevates his game when the playoffs come around.
The fact of the matter is that it isn’t possible for Anderson to maintain the same level of play through an entire season. It’s almost impossible for him to stay healthy if he were to play his wrecking-ball style for 82 regular season games, but it seems like when the lights get brighter at the Bell Centre, Anderson always shows up. He’s the type of player any team would want, but it doesn’t seem like Anderson wants to be anywhere else.
