Yankees’ Aaron Judge breaks silence after injury, sidesteps timeline questions
New York Yankees star Aaron Judge is dealing with a ribs injury. He is expected to mis at least four to six weeks and the star was placed on the injured list on Friday. After the Yankees’ IL move, Judge spoke to reporters. However, he had no interest in discussing return timelines, via Bryan Hoch of MLB.com.
“I don’t like talking timetables. That stuff’s all made up,” Judge said.
According to Jorge Castillo of ESPN, Judge also revealed when he believed he initially suffered the injury.
“He said the injury stems from him diving for a ball in Texas on April 27. He said he played through pain, but it became unbearable over the weekend in Sacramento,” Castillo reported.
