WWE’s Liv Morgan gets revenge on Stephanie Vaquer with injury angle on RAW

Fans of former Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer won’t be thrilled to learn she’ll be out “for a bit” due to an injury at the hands of WWE’s Liv Morgan.

During the Apr. 27, 2026, edition of Monday Night RAW, Vaquer was shown walking into the arena before being attacked by Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. They pushed an equipment box into her shoulder before Morgan added insult to injury by grabbing Vaquer by the hair, reminding her that the Women’s World Championship was now hers.

Later on, Michael Cole revealed that Vaquer suffered a second-degree AC sprain. She will now be on the shelf for an undisclosed amount of time.

How long will WWE’s Stephanie Vaquer miss with her injury at the hands of Liv Morgan?

Cole didn’t provide a strict timeline for Vaquer’s return. However, it’s likely safe to assume that she will miss at least a couple of weeks to sell the injury.

It’s unknown why WWE planned an injury angle revolving around Vaquer. Usually, that indicates a Superstar is about to take a leave of absence for one reason or another.

Vaquer has been a workhorse since she first won the Women’s World Championship at Wrestlepalooza in September 2025. Her reign lasted until WrestleMania 42, when Morgan defeated her to win the gold. This ended her reign after 210 days.

While Vaquer lost to Morgan, it doesn’t appear that their feud is over. Expect Vaquer to resume their rivalry upon her return from her injury, whenever that may be.

Since joining the main roster in 2025, Vaquer has become one of WWE’s biggest stars on RAW. She won the 20-woman battle royal at Evolution that set her up for a Women’s World Championship match. She beat Iyo Sky to win the title, which was vacated at the time, at Wrestlepalooza.
