WWE star Sheamus shows off bloody head gash from ‘gym fail’
While currently on the shelf with a shoulder injury, WWE’s “Celtic Warrior” Sheamus suffered a bloody head gash after a “gym fail.”
The former three-time WWE Champion revealed the injury on social media. He posted a picture of himself tending to the wound with the caption, “gym fail,” and the hashtag “fml,” which stands for “f**k my life.”

He didn’t go into too much detail about what happened. However, he suffered some kind of laceration on the top of his head. It was pretty serious, as the pictures show. Blood was dripping down his face.
WWE star Sheamus is on the shelf with another injury besides the bloody head gash

Before lacerating his head, Sheamus was put on hiatus due to a shoulder injury. He suffered it in late 2025, causing him to be pulled out of the “Last Time is Now” tournament, which determined John Cena’s last opponent.
The “Celtic Warrior” has not been seen since. Hopefully, he is able to come back sooner rather than later. He is still chasing the Intercontinental Championship, the only title that has evaded him on his way to becoming a Grand Slam Champion.
At the time of his shoulder injury, Sheamus was only a few months removed from his return from another hiatus. He had a feud with the recently returned Rusev that culminated at Clash in Paris.
His career saw a rejuvenation of sorts beginning in 2022. He began feuding with Gunther over the Intercontinental Championship. Their feud started with a match at Clash at the Castle. It would continue through WrestleMania 39, where Gunther successfully defended the IC title against Sheamus and Drew McIntyre.
The “Ring General” would continue to have a historic 666-day title reign. However, he would lose the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40 to Sami Zayn in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
