The feud between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi has been heating up before their match at WWE WrestleMania 42, and their latest encounter on Monday Night RAW almost featured the “Beast Incarnate” breaking character.

During Femi’s entrance, the “Ruler” did Lesnar’s famous taunt, hopping from side to side. When the camera cut to Lesnar, he had a slight smile on his face.

Luckily for Lesnar, his aura makes it plausible that he was just arrogant in the moment, amused by his opponent’s bravado. However, more than likely, this was a moment that even Lesnar was amused by. This isn’t the first time he’s broken character with Femi, either, as he was seen vibing to his entrance a week earlier.

In just over a week, the smiles will be gone when Lesnar and Femi face at WrestleMania 42. Only one of them will be smiling once the match ends.

Lesnar and Femi’s feud began at the Royal Rumble on Jan. 31, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Femi was eliminated from the battle royal by Lesnar.

A few weeks later, Lesnar issued an open challenge for WrestleMania 42. While Seth Rollins initially appeared to be his challenger, Femi emerged.

In the weeks since, Femi has largely gotten the better of Lesnar in their encounters. He has delivered powerbombs and clotheslines in their brief brawls.

Their last encounter was during the Apr. 6 edition of RAW. They were supposed to have a contract signing for their match, but it turned physical upon Femi making his entrance.

At WrestleMania 42, they will be one of the opening matches of the second night on Sunday, Apr. 19. The first hour of the second night of WrestleMania 42 will be broadcast on ESPN, which is a major mainstream stage. Given Lesnar’s mainstream appeal due to his UFC success, there’s a chance that they open the show.
