WWE news: Paul Heyman finally reveals what Brock Lesnar said during emotional WrestleMania 42 retirement

The pro-wrestling world was taken aback when Brock Lesnar lost to Oba Femi at WWE WrestleMania 42. In a matter of moments, Femi dominated and defeated Lesnar, before walking out of the ring. What followed it was tragic to several pro-wrestling fans.

A teary-eyed Lesnar was left sitting in the ring, devastated by his loss. “The Beast Incarnate” would then proceed to open and lay his gloves in the ring before sharing an embrace with Hall of Famer Paul Heyman.

Recently, speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Heyman finally revealed what Lesnar told him during that emotional moment. “I thanked him for everything. He thanked me for everything. I told him that I love him. He told me that he loves me. Then I asked him if he finds it funny that the two of us are standing in the middle of the ring, in the middle of the stadium, in the middle of WrestleMania, being broadcast all over ESPN, telling each other that we love each other. I said, ‘This is kind of a surreal moment.’ He goes, ‘F*ck them! Don’t worry about that, this is just for us.’ Okay, my beast. Happy to happen, happy to participate in the moment. It was just a very personal moment that we were not hesitant to share with the rest of the world. It was a very emotional moment.”

However, while many believed it to be Lesnar’s retirement, the former Universal Champion still has gas left in his tank. Recently, Lesnar made his comeback and defeated Oba Femi at Clash in Italy.

In the same interview with Chris Van Vliet, Paul Heyman opened up and revealed what the audience should make of that particular WWE WrestleMania 42 moment. “Remember how I felt if I’m an audience member. I would remember how I felt watching it. I’d remember what that moment was. I remember all that it encompassed, and I would be appreciative of the fact that I got to live that moment and experience it and hold it in my data bank as a fan.”
