WWE legend Paul Wight reveals inspiring weight loss journey
Standing tall at 7ft, AEW and WWE veteran Paul Wight, aka Big Show, has always been known as one of the biggest men in the industry. Once billed as “standing seven feet tall and weighing more than 400 pounds”, Wight is currently on a weight loss journey.
The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently revealed undergoing a major weight loss transformation while speaking on TalkSport. Currently present in the UK for AEW’s upcoming All In 2026 PPV at Wembley Stadium, Wight opened up in detail about the transformation.
“I’m only 383 (pounds) now, I’ve lost some weight. We’re doing good. I want to get down to about 350,” the veteran. He further opened up about his dream of becoming a Calvin Klein underwear model. “I want to become a Calvin Klein underwear model, so I’m working on it. Their big and tall section. It’s kind of a big and tall and short, if you put it all together.”
However, this is not the first time Wight has lost such an impressive amount of weight. Earlier this year in Feb. 2026, he shared an update on social media talking about his weight loss journey. “Currently 393lbs. Shooting for 360lbs. Thank you to everyone that’s supported me over the years,” he shared.
While weighing at 393lbs in Feb. 2026, Wight has shown significant progress and lost over 10lbs in a span of nearly two months. With still a long way from going, the wrestling veteran is slowly but steadily approaching his dream weight and underwear model goal.
Wight last wrestled back in 2024 at the [Chris] Jericho Cruise. Wight often appears on AEW television as part of the commentary team.
