WWE Hall of Famer sees big potential for Oba Femi after Brock Lesnar feud

For the past few months, WWE fans have been noticing an iconic rivalry brewing between Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar. Both Femi and Lesnar are two of the most dominant men on the roster and have been going at each other.

While their rivalry started before WWE WrestleMania 42, Femi defeated and humiliated Lesnar at the promotion’s biggest PLE. While seemingly retiring at the show, Lesnar later returned and took down Femi. The two then fought at Clash in Italy, with “The Beast Incarnate” picking up the win. With one victory each, Lesnar and Femi might need to fight once again to determine the clear winner.

Recently speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray emphasised that Femi will not lose his momentum following the loss, but might become a bigger star because of it.

“To anybody that took to social media to show concern for Oba Femi, to anybody who’s listening to us this morning, concerned about Oba Femi, who think they did the wrong thing (at Clash In Italy) with Oba Femi, who thinks Oba Femi’s push is going to be affected, who thinks Oba Femi is getting buried,” he said.

“If you think one negative thing about Oba Femi’s future in the WWE because of what happened in losing to Brock Lesnar, you’re wrong. Oba is fine, he’s going to be fine, and when this is all said and done, Oba will be a bigger star for it.”

Femi bounced back shortly after the match and advanced into the King of the Ring tournament with just one good arm on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW. As of now, there are no updates on Lesnar facing Reigns in the future.
