Why The Rock was pulled over after celebrating Emily Blunt’s accomplishment
Even the “Final Boss” and acclaimed actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson isn’t above the law, as he learned after getting pulled over after celebrating his Smashing Machine co-star Emily Blunt‘s latest accolade.
The Rock was supporting Blunt as she was honored at the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, Apr. 30. TMZ reports he was pulled over in a traffic stop for his “tinted” windows.
According to the report, WWE’s “Final Boss” was wearing a “crisp shirt and cream trousers” that flaunted his hulking physique. He didn’t use any WWE tactics, though, as they note he “handled it like a pro.”
It’s unknown if the situation escalated beyond The Rock being pulled over. Either way, it added a little excitement to the Thursday afternoon.
Is The Rock in trouble after being pulled over?

TMZ’s report didn’t include a follow-up on the situation. They weren’t sure if he was written up for his windows. Perhaps there will be an update in the coming days.
He was pulled over after supporting Blunt while she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her Devil Wears Prada 2 co-star, Stanley Tucci, also received one on Thursday.
The Rock and Blunt are coming off their second collaboration together, The Smashing Machine. Previously, they starred in Jungle Cruise together for Disney.
Both of them are booked and busy. Blunt has been promoting The Devil Wears Prada 2, the long-awaited sequel to The Devil Wears Prada. Coming up, she will star in Steven Spielberg’s upcoming movie, Disclosure Day, alongside Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, and Colman Domingo.
Meanwhile, The Rock is gearing up to reprise the role of Maui in the Moana live-action remake. He is also a producer of the project. Later in the year, he will also return to the Jumanji franchise in Open World.
