Why Kim Kardashian, Lewis Hamilton romance is getting more serious

Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton are making a move in their relationship that shows they are in it for the long haul.

The mom of four, whom she shares with her ex-husband Kanye West, shared that she is “very selective” about who she chooses to be around her children. Since their romance has come to light, he has been on several outings with Kardashian and her children, which is a good sign.

“Kim’s very selective when it comes to the people she allows around her kids. She’s very protective of them and doesn’t take new introductions lightly,” the insider tells People. “The fact that Lewis has spent time with the kids reflects how much she trusts him.”

The source shared that Kardashian, “never wanted to rush anything, but she’s very happy with where things are,” the insider says. “He’s a great guy.”

The last time the F1 driver was spotted with Kardashian and her kids was when they went to Tokyo. Kardashian brought her three younger children, Saint, 10, Chicago, 9, and Psalm, 6, on the trip. It’s unclear if her oldest child, daughter North West, 12, was on the trip. The Tokyo trip also included Khloé Kardashian and her children, True, 7, and Tatum, 3, who also joined them for the trip.

The couple has been fueling romance rumors since February when they went on a romantic trip in Europe. The Sun reported that they wanted to keep a low profile and focus on them together.

“It was all kept very quiet—they clearly wanted to have some time for just the two of them,” a source said.

Since then, the pair has been spotted on their trips to Paris and Tokyo, attending Super Bowl 60 together, as well as going to support Justin Bieber at Coachella.

“There’s a comfort level there, because they’ve known each other for years,” the source told People said after Super Bowl 60. “Kim’s gone on dates and met people over the years, but Lewis is the first guy she’s really into in a long time. She always liked him. She’s excited about their romantic connection.”
