Why Fever’s Caitlin Clark ‘felt bad’ after lighting up Sky in Taylor Swift-inspired shoes
Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” may be over, but the Caitlin Clark Era is still well and alive in the WNBA.
Clark led the Indiana Fever to a hard-earned win over the Chicago Sky in overtime, 114-106, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Thursday. The Fever trampled the Sky in the extension, 16-8, to secure their fourth win in five games and improve to 7-5.
The 24-year-old Clark tied her season-high with 32 points. She added seven rebounds and 10 assists. She shot 8-of-18 from the field and 15-of-15 from the free-throw line.
She wore her latest custom player exclusives (PEs), the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Eras Tour,” which she flexed in the postgame conference. She, however, also felt a little guilty about them.
“These are my last PEs that I was going to debut, so I saved the best ones for last. But obviously, you guys know I’m a big fan of Taylor, and the ‘Eras Tour’ was the best concert of all time,” said Clark.
“I think they’re pretty fun. I’ve never had so many people ask me for my shoes after the game today. Literally every kid was screaming for them, and I felt bad. I’m like, ‘Honestly, no, sorry.’ I got to keep them.”

Look what you made her do.
Clark knows the “Eras Tour” all too well. She watched it on back-to-back nights at Lucas Oil Stadium in 2024. She even received several gifts from Swift, whom Clark invited to watch the Fever’s games.
The 36-year-old Swift has yet to come to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, although she has expressed her desire to do so.
Swift attended Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday.
