Where to watch Liverpool vs Man City: Kick-off time and talkSPORT coverage for Premier League blockbuster

Liverpool and Manchester City will reignite their Premier League feud with a huge clash at Anfield on Sunday.

The two sides have stirred up exciting title races in the years gone by, but it’s been a very different story this season.

Reigning champions Liverpool seem to still be feeling the effects of a run of six defeats in seven matches earlier in the campaign.

A 4-1 win over Newcastle last weekend has kept them in the top four race, although the defence of their league crown is all but over.

City sit four spots above them in second and, on paper, would appear to be in contention for a seventh title under Pep Guardiola.

However, they are six points behind Arsenal and have only one win in their last six after throwing away a two-goal lead at Tottenham.

Victory at Anfield would come as a precious boost for both sides as the number of weeks remaining in the season trickle down.

Liverpool vs Man City: What has been said?

City boss Pep Guardiola offered some cryptic comments after his side failed to beat Spurs on Sunday evening.

He refused to comment on whether their host’s first goal, in which Marc Guehi appeared to be fouled, should have stood.

Once again, their first half performance was undone by the second.

But when speaking ahead of the Carabao Cup clash semi-final second leg against Newcastle, Guardiola cited youth as a factor.

“It’s a reality,” he said. “It’s a young team, the youngest side we’ve had in 10 years, and maybe we need to live it.

“We have to grow with that.”
