Way-too-early 2027 NFL Mock Draft
The 2026 NFL Draft is now complete, bringing 257 new drafted players and dozens of other undrafted free agents into the league. And we’ll have plenty of time to talk about them in the three months between now and when training camps open. For now, though, it’s never too early to look ahead to next season’s rookie class, which we will do here in ClutchPoints’ way-too-early 2027 NFL Mock Draft.
Note: This draft order is based on the reverse DraftKings Super Bowl odds as of publication.
1. Arizona Cardinals: QB Dante Moore, Oregon
Despite drafting Carson Beck in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft, the Cardinals will still likely need a quarterback next season. Dante Moore would have likely been the No. 2 or 3 pick in this year’s draft, so going No. 1 in the 2027 version makes a lot of sense.
There will be a lot of speculation about whether this is Moore or Arch Manning here. Moore gets the nod because he is the better athlete and will have more experience under his belt coming out. Also, the Mannings may not want Arch in Arizona, and that’s where things get really interesting.
2. Miami Dolphins: QB Arch Manning, Texas

Sandwiched between the Cardinals and Jets (with the Browns right behind), it wouldn’t be a shock if the Manning family made it clear that Arch Manning will only be going to the Dolphins in the top five. They did it once before with Eli and the Chargers, so it could happen again.
This is a good fit, though, as Arch will not have to play right away with Malik Willis in the building. Willis is good enough to hold down the fort and take the beatings during Miami’s rebuild, but not good enough that the team would pass on a QB named Manning.
3. New York Jets: EDGE Colin Simmons, Texas
The Jets have three picks in Round 1 of the 2027 NFL Draft, thanks to the Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams trades. That means they can wait on quarterback here and take one of the best available at another position. Colin Simmons is an incredible pass rusher, and if he improves on his 12.0 sacks last season, he will easily be worth a top-three selection.
While Jeremiah Smith will be tempting here, the Jets may be fine with Garrett Wilson and Omar Cooper Jr., especially since they already paid Wilson. Pairing Simmons with David Bailey could give Gang Green one of the best pass rushes in the league.
4. Cleveland Browns: QB Darian Mensah, Miami
Darian Mensah is needs to bulk up a bit, but his 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame should be able to handle that. Outside of that, he is a smart, accurate pocket passer with some athleticism when he gets outside the tackles, too.
Mensah threw for almost 4,000 yards and 34 touchdowns at Duke last season. With the type of talent that will surround him at Miami in 2026, his numbers and wins should be even better.
5. Las Vegas Raiders: WR Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State
Jeremiah Smith is the best player in this draft, and arguably the best wide receiver to come out of college since Calvin Johnson. He is a polished route-runner and an incredible athlete. The Raiders getting him at No. 5 will be a steal.
6. Tennessee Titans: CB Leonard Moore, Notre Dame
There are only a few truly elite defenders at the top of the 2026 NFL Draft. And Leonrad Moore is one of them. The lockdown Notre Dame cornerback is 6-foot-2, 195 pounds, so he can match up with any WR in the league. And his five interceptions last season show he is also a playmaker who can take the ball away. A corner like this will help Robert Saleh’s defense thrive.
7. Atlanta Falcons: QB Drew Mestemaker, Oklahoma State
The Michael Penix Jr. experiment should be over after this season, and Kevin Stefanski will be able to move on and grab the QB of his choice. Drew Mestemaker is the most fascinating QB prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft, which is enough to entice the Falcons.
Mestemaker led the FBS last season at North Texas with 4,379 passing yards. Now, the 6-foot-4 QB heads to the Big 12 with his coaching staff and top wideout. If he can again light up the box score, the NFL will fall in love.
8. Carolina Panthers: WR Cam Coleman, Texas

Not all that far behind Jeremiah Smith as the top WR of this class is Cam Coleman. He is 6-foot-3, 201 pounds with elite athleticism and receiver skills. He improved each season at Auburn despite poor QB play. In 2026, him at Arch Manning will light a path to the top of the NFL draft together.
For the Panthers, taking another big, physically gifted WR to play opposite Tet McMillan will improve the offense and help justify giving Bryce Young a massive second contract.
9. New Orleans Saints: EDGE Dylan Stewart, South Carolina
Dylan Stewart has 11.0 sacks and 22.5 tackles for a loss in two seasons at South Carolina. As long as he builds on that this campaign, he will find himself in the top 10 of the 2026 NFL Draft. His size at 6-foot-4, 246 pounds, and explosion make him a nice fit for a team like the Saints looking to find a long-term solution at EDGE.
10. New York Giants: OT Jordan Seaton, LSU
The Giants will keep wanting to build through the trenches, and Jermaine Eluemunor will be 33 next season. Jordan Seaton was a standout at Colorado with his athleticism at 6-foot-5, 330 pounds. Now, he’ll get even more attention under Lane Kiffin at LSU before he heads to New York to beef up the Giants’ O-line even more.
11. Washington Commanders: WR Ryan Coleman-Williams, Alabama
Ryan Coleman-Williams was right there with Jeremiah Smith when they came into college football as freshmen. Smith took off to higher heights, but Coleman-Williams is still an incredible talent. He is explosive with fantastic speed and can play multiple WR positions. He had too many drops in 2025, but his ability will keep him in the top half of this 2027 NFL Mock Draft.
12. New York Jets (from IND): QB LaNorris Sellers, South Carolina
The Jets will take their QB of the future with their second of three picks. LaNorris Sellars likely would have been the second signal-caller taken in 2026 if he came out. Another year at SC will serve him well, though, and when the 6-foot-4, 230-pound passer does come to the NFL, the team that gets him will have a more experienced player who still has the incredible physical skills Sellers has always possessed.
13. Minnesota Vikings: EDGE Matayo Uiaggalelei, Oregon
Like in 2024, the teams that don’t need QBs will benefit from the fact that so many signal-callers are going to go before their selection. The Vikings are one of those teams, as they get Matayo Uiaggalelei in this 2027 NFL Mock Draft. The big, physical DE from Oregon had 16.5 sacks the last two seasons and should build on that playing on this incredibly talented Ducks defense.
14. Pittsburgh Steelers: QB C.J. Carr, Notre Dame

The Steelers didn’t solve their QB issue by drafting Drew Allar. They will need to finally replace Aaron Rodgers in the 2027 NFL Draft, and C.J. Carr is right up Mike McCarthy’s alley. He has a good size at 6-foot-3, 210 pounds, and is a great thrower when on time and in rhythm. Plus, he has solid Midwest football bloodlines as the grandson of Lloyd Carr, which McCarthy will like, too.
16. Jacksonville Jaguars: OT Trevor Goosby, Texas
The Jaguars offensive tackle depth chart is tenuous at best, especially on the left side with Cole Van Lanen and Walker Little. Trevor Goosby will solve that problem. The 6-foot-7, 312-pound tackle is built to protect the blindside. He’ll do so for Arch Manning this season and Trevor Lawrence for possibly the next decade.
15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: TE Jamari Johnson, Oregon
A lot of 2026 NFL Mock Drafts had the Buccaneers taking Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq this offseason. What many scouts pointed out, though, is that Sadiq wasn’t even the best TE on the Ducks last season.
Jamari Johnson is a 6-foot-5, 257-pound tight end who isn’t a move TE or gadget guy like Sadiq. He is a traditional in-line tight end with great pass-catching skills. If the Bucs get him, they will be able to be a lot more multiple on offense.
17. New York Jets (from DAL): CB Ellis Robinson IV, Georgia
The Jets are on the clock, which is a phrase we will hear a lot in the 2027 NFL Draft. This time, they go back to defense with Georgia CB Ellis Robinson IV. The Bulldog DB has to put on some weight at 6-feet, 180 pounds, but outside of that, he has everything you want in an elite NFL corner. That includes making four interceptions last season.
18. Chicago Bears: EDGE Quincy Rhodes Jr., Arkansas
Quincy Rhodes Jr. has elite size for a defensive end at 6-foot-6, 275 pounds. He’s also shown good production for the Razorbacks, posting 8.0 sacks and 15.5 TFLs last season. This is the type of prospect Dennis Allen wants on his defense, and Ryan Poles should get it for him in 2027.
19. Cincinnati Bengals: S K.J. Bolden, Georgia
After passing on a potential Caleb Downs pick with their Dexter Lawrence trade, the Bengals will have a need at safety next season as well. K.J. Bolden isn’t Downs, but he has a lot of the same profile. He is a true three-down safety with good speed and physicality. He can play any safety position and excels in coverage.
20. Denver Broncos: WR Nick Marsh, Indiana
The Michigan State transfer should have a big year with Indiana, and when he does, Nick Marsh will make himself a no-doubt Round 1 pick. At 6-foot-3, 203 pounds, Marsh’s blend of speed and physicality is exactly what NFL teams are looking for. Sean Payton will have a field day with his new X receiver.
21. Detroit Lions: QB Julian Sayin, Ohio State

The seventh QB taken in this 2027 NFL Mock Draft is Ohio State’s Julian Sayin, and that will break the record (set in 1983 and 2024) for most QBs in Round 1. And Sayin may be going to the best situation of any signal-caller in this draft.
Dan Campbell will see a lot of Jared Goff in Sayin. He is a game manager in the best way and has enough athleticism to move around and even out of the pocket. He is accurate and doesn’t make many mistakes, which is just how the Lions want their QB to play.
22. Houston Texans: RB Jadan Baugh, Florida
This may be a bit of a reach here, but the Texans do need a three-down back, and Jadan Baugh can be that guy. At 6-foot-1, 231 pounds, Baugh has elite size for the position. He also ran for over 1,000 yards last season on a mediocre Florida team and is one of the best pass-catching backs in this draft, hauling in 33 balls last season.
23. Dallas Cowboys (from GB): WR Duce Robinson, Florida State
This may be low for Duce Robinson if he has another 1,000-plus-yard season. At 6-foot-6 with speed, Robinson is a freak athlete the likes of which the NFL may have never seen before. If he runs as fast as he seems and can get separation from NFL corners, he could be unguardable.
With George Pickens likely gone next season, the Cowboys will need to add another wideout next to CeeDee Lamb. If Robinson does fall this far, he could be the difference-maker to help Dak Prescott finally get over the hump.
24. Los Angeles Chargers: DT A’Mauri Washington, Oregon
A’Mauri Washington is a 330-pound space-eating run-stopper who may have been the first DT off the board in 2026 if he came out. As it is, he’ll take that spot next season because, as good a run-stopper as he is, he may have the athleticism to provide a little pass-rush juice as well.
25. Philadelphia Eagles: CB Kelley Jones, Mississippi State
Howie Roseman is all about building depth a year too early instead of a year too late. As Riq Woolen and Cooper DeJean head toward the end of their Eagles deals, bringing in a 6-foot-4 SEC CB seems like a move right out of the Howie playbook.
26. New England Patriots: WR Charlie Becker, Indiana
Charlie Becker was the unsung hero of the Indiana receiving corps last season, and in 2026, he will get his shine next to Marsh. Becker is a lot like Alec Pierce. He has good size at 6-foot-3 and can be a sneaky field stretcher with his speed and track background.
As Drake Maye matures, a WR like this, who can operate at all three levels, including getting open for Maye’s signature deep balls, will be incredibly valuable to the Pats.
27. San Francisco 49ers: OT Cayden Green, Missouri
OK, this is definitely the year Trent Williams retires, right? Either way, bringing in Cayden Green, a 6-foot-5, 324-pound lineman with both guard and tackle experience, will serve the 49ers offense in the short term and in the long term as an eventual replacement for their left tackle.
28. Kansas City Chiefs: TE Trey’Dez Green, LSU

With Travis Kelce likely on his way out, the Chiefs will go and get one of the most fascinating prospects in this 2027 NFL Mock Draft. Tre’Dez Green is 6-foot-7, 240 pounds, and spent a chunk of his freshman season on the LSU basketball team. Now focusing on football full-time, Lane Kiffin will turn Green into a high-end NFL prospect, and pairing him with Patrick Mahomes will help alleviate the stress of losing a Hall of Famer.
29. Baltimore Ravens: C Iapani Laloulu, Oregon
This is just what the Ravens do. They lost Tyler Linderbaum, and in 2027, they will replace him with another elite center in Iapani Laloulu. The Oregon lineman is one of the best linemen in the draft, but will slip due to “positional value.” That’s exactly how the Ravens like it.
30. Buffalo Bills: WR Ryan Wingo, Texas
Will 2027 finally be the year the Bills take a Round 1 WR for Josh Allen? If it is, Ryan Wingo would be a good selection. The Texas wideout is 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, and has excellent speed and power. He is another player in this deep WR draft who looks like a potential WR1, and that is what the Bills need.
31. Seattle Seahawks: DT Ahmad Moten Sr., Miami
Leonard Williams will be 33 in 2027 and is getting toward the end of his contract. The Seahawks can start to replace him with Miami’s Ahmad Moten Sr., who stood out even on a line with Akheem Mesidor and Rueben Bain Jr. To keep Seattle in the mix, Mike Macdonald needs to keep the defense elite, and this pick will help do that.
32. Los Angeles Rams: OT Carter Smith, Indiana
With Ty Simpson possibly getting ready to start for the first time, the Rams should focus on beefing up the offensive line ahead of him. Carter Smith can play four positions at the NFL level, so adding him in 2027 will improve the unit in front of Simpson in one way or another.
