What started off as a normal game quickly turned into a defensive battle after the first quarter. After dropping 28 points in the first period, Golden State failed to score more than 23 in any quarter afterwards. The Suns also struggled offensively, but a strong first half gave them enough security to keep themselves ahead.

Devin Booker and Jalen Green both led the Suns with 24 points on the day. Nobody else on the team managed to eclipse 13 points, but considering the low-scoring nature of the game, it didn’t matter in the end.

Meanwhile, Kristaps Porzingis did everything he could to help the Warriors win. Overall, he scored 30 points while also picking up 11 rebounds in the loss.
