Warrant issued for 49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk’s arrest
A warrant for the arrest of San Francisco 49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk has been issued on a misdemeanor charge of exhibition of speeding in the wake of a viral video of him speeding.
Reports indicate that the warrant comes after a video was posted by Aiyuk in December 2025. He filmed himself going faster than the 40 mph speed limit on a road that passes Levi’s Stadium, the 49ers’ home stadium.
While he apologized for the video, the Santa Clara Police Department stated that they’d be investigating whether criminal charges would be filed. The case was forwarded to the DA’s office on Jan. 15, 2026.
