One of the most popular activities for couples in Las Vegas is getting hitched, or becoming a “tag team for life,” and WWE Superstar The Miz will officiate some lucky fans’ weddings right before WrestleMania 42 weekend.

ESPN and WWE are hosting a special wedding experience in Las Vegas on Thursday, Apr. 16, 2026. Five couples will get married with The Miz officiating the ceremonies from 3 pm to 5 pm PST.

In the press release, it’s being described as a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.” Couples who celebrate their nuptials with The Miz will receive a “WWEdding certificate” and more perks. Each ceremony will feature “the drama, humor, and showmanship that fans expect yet reimagined through the lens of a wedding celebration.”

“At ESPN, we believe sports fandom is forever,” said ESPN Senior Vice President of Marketing Jo Fox. “For our first WrestleMania on the ESPN App, we wanted to give couples bound by their shared love of WWE and ready to say ‘I do’ a way to begin their next forever chapter by fully embracing everything they love together.”

Registration is open for the unique experience. The couples are chosen on a first-come, first-served basis. So, fans will have to act fast.

If you are selected, you will need to obtain a physical marriage license from the State of Nevada before the ceremony. Additionally, they will need their government-issued photo IDs and to “comply with any additional requirements requested upon registration.” Even if you aren’t selected, you can still attend the ceremonies.

This is one of The Miz’s many duties during the week before WrestleMania. Unfortunately, he does not have a match scheduled for the Showcase of the Immortals. At least WWE has found a new job for him in place of a match.
