Tyrese Maxey, Kyle Lowry share special moment with Amazon Prime Playmaker chain
The Philadelphia 76ers engaged in a heated play-in opener with the Orlando Magic featuring one skirmish. But the Wednesday NBA Playoffs showdown ended with Tyrese Maxey and Kyle Lowry getting their hands on some bling via Amazon Prime.
Both men enjoyed the 109-97 victory at the Wells Fargo Center. Maxey dropped 31 points to lead Philly. Lowry, though, had the honor of giving Maxey the gold around his next.
“Ooh, I got some bling?!” Maxey is overheard saying postgame with Amazon Prime.

Maxey hit 11-of-25 field goals including banking a trio of 3-pointers. He also dished out six assists with the 76ers’ season on the line. Maxey even delivered seven straight points for Philadelphia with under 6:30 left.

Orlando struggled to contain him throughout the evening. Maxey found holes to attack, including splitting the double-team underneath the hoop on this tough layup.

Maxey is renown for going off during the postseason. Fans of the 76ers likely recall the epic 46-point evening against the New York Knicks from April 30, 2024. Maxey became one assist shy of a double-double that night too.
Maxey and Philly overcame a rather sluggish third quarter, which saw Orlando and the 76ers combine for just 39 points. VJ Edgecombe escalated some tensions by essentially dog-walking Jalen Suggs near the stands. Both benches cleared and officials needed to ease the tensions during that late third quarter moment.
Philadelphia still keeps its season alive. All while renewing a historic NBA postseason rivalry coming up. The home crowd chanted “We Want Boston!” after surpassing the Magic. Maxey, meanwhile, comes home with new hardware.
