Travis Kelce agrees with Colin Jost on Taylor Swift dynamic

Travis Kelce and Colin Jost recently shared why they enjoy being the less famous person in their relationships.

During an appearance on the “New Heights” podcast, Jost discussed life with wife Scarlett Johansson and admitted he actually prefers the dynamic, TheWrap reports.

“Huge relief. Really,” Jost said while explaining that people often approach him more casually because he feels more accessible through television.

The “Saturday Night Live” star also shared a funny travel story involving Johansson’s level of fame. Jost recalled a passport control worker asking Johansson if anyone had ever told her she looked like Scarlett Johansson, despite literally holding her passport.

“She’s actually almost like so famous that they don’t believe it,” Jost said. Kelce immediately related to the conversation given the massive spotlight surrounding his relationship with Taylor Swift.

“I’m on the team,” Kelce said. “I’m here for it.”

Kelce and Swift Remain Under the Spotlight

Jost and Johansson began dating in 2017 before marrying in 2020. The couple welcomed their son in 2021.

Kelce and Swift started dating during the summer of 2023 and quickly became one of the most talked-about celebrity couples in sports and entertainment. Swift regularly attended Kansas City Chiefs games during the NFL season, while Kelce appeared at several stops during her Eras Tour.

The couple later got engaged in 2025.

While both relationships attract enormous public attention, Kelce and Jost made it clear they are perfectly comfortable supporting their superstar partners from the side.
