Tommy Fury advised by brother Tyson to take surprise world title fight next after Eddie Hall win

Tyson Fury wants his brother Tommy to go after the WBC cruiserweight title after beating Eddie Hall.

The younger Fury sibling continued his crossover career as he took on a huge social media boxing event against former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall.

He managed to edge past the giant, who made him work hard for his victory, using his superior technique and skill to outbox his opponent.

Fury has fought against professional opponents in the past, and has had a world ranking, with only limited opposition beaten.

In recent years, ‘TNT’ has been focusing on social media crossover clashes against celebrity names, due to their financial lure.

But now he has beaten Hall, his brother and two-time heavyweight champion Tyson, wants to go back to his roots.

And the ‘Gypsy King’ believes he deserves a world title shot next.

He told iFL TV: “After this fight with Hall, I’d like to see something different for Tommy.

“I’d like to see Mauricio Sulaiman rank him in the top 15 at light-heavyweight or cruiserweight.

“Tommy is a real fighter, and I think he’d have a great fight with Noel Mikaelian [WBC cruiserweight title].

“Tommy has the ability to beat him, and obviously Fury is a big name with a big following.

“He got that top 15 ranking when he beat Jake Paul so he should be able to get it again.

“I’d love him to get a world title shot next but we will see.”

Can Tommy Fury get a world title shot?

A shot at the green and gold belt is highly unlikely for Fury in his current predicament.

Fury’s win over Hall did not count as a professional bout, and was sanctioned as an exhibition.

Therefore it is almost impossible that he will be reinstated in the WBC rankings.

However, should Fury choose to get more active as a professional, it is likely he can work his way back into a healthy position in the rankings.

Mikaelian is likely the most attainable champion, but he has recently been ordered to unify with David Benavidez.

And by the time the social media sensation gets to the top of the division, a new champion may have his hands on the belt.

Fury has also fought very limited opposition when stepping in as a pro, and would need to beat some world level gatekeepers to unlock a shot at the crown.
