Timothée Chalamet stuns with new look at Knicks’ dramatic ECF Game 1 win
After flying to the Big Apple, New York Knicks superfan Timothée Chalamet attended their dramatic Game 1 comeback win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals (ECF).
Chalamet was shown during the broadcast as he sat courtside at the game. He appeared to have gotten a haircut, or at least styled it differently, and shaved his facial hair.
Some fans couldn’t believe it, one writing, “There is absolutely NO WAY this is actually him. I refuse to believe it. Did he completely fire his stylist or is this a cheap variant from the multiverse?! The fan girls are going to delete this app in tears.”

Another fan was wondering why anyone said “he had a glow down,” though one was thrilled he finally shaved his mustache, saying, “Finally no mustache[.] I’ve been praying for times like these.”
Was Timothée Chalamet at the Knicks’ ECF Game 1 22-point comeback vs. the Cavaliers?

Chalamet was in his usual spot on celebrity row at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. He got to witness New York’s dramatic 22-point comeback victory.
The Knicks found themselves down by 22 points in the fourth quarter. Their offense was struggling to muster anything before Jalen Brunson took matters into his own hands.
While the Cavs relatively held Brunson in check early, he exploded in the fourth quarter and overtime. Brunson ended the night with 38 points.
The game reached overtime, and the Knicks outscored the Cavaliers 14-3 in the period. Landry Shamet put the game on ice with a clutch three-pointer. He scored nine points on three three-pointers.
Despite Donovan Mitchell’s efforts, scoring 29 points, he went quiet in the fourth quarter and overtime. The same can be said of James Harden, who made just five of his 16 shots for 15 points. He went 1-8 on three-pointers, and he had six turnovers.
