Tigers’ Tarik Skubal stays in game vs. Yankees after injury scare
Detroit Tigers star Tarik Skubal missed time earlier in the season due to an elbow injury. He has since returned, but the two-time Cy Young winner suffered an injury scare during Wednesday’s game against the New York Yankees.

Skubal appeared to be dealing with a groin issue. The trainer came out but Skubal ended up staying in the game. It seems as if Skubal will be alright, but this will be a situation to monitor.
Of course, the entire MLB world is closely paying attention, as Skubal is expected to be the top trade candidate before the upcoming deadline.
