Tiger Woods private jet touches down in Palm Beach following alleged rehab program

Tiger Woods touched down in Palm Beach after reportedly completing a rehabilitation program overseas following his March DUI arrest.

Woods reportedly went to a rehabilitation facility in Zurich, Switzerland and is back in the Sunshine State, according to TMZ. The outlet believes that the golf pro was on board following several weeks overseas at a rehab center.

This news follows a hearing at Martin County Circuit Court in Florida on Tuesday, May 12, when a judge granted prosecutors’ request for Woods’ prescription records as part of the state’s ongoing investigation into his DUI. The golf icon was arrested in Florida back in March.

Following his DUI arrest, a police report indicated the pills that were found at the time of his arrest were hydrocodone pills.

Woods was charged with a DUI, and he was also charged with property damage, refusal to submit to a lawful test, and was later cited for careless driving. He pleaded not guilty to all of the charges on March 31.

The five-time Masters champion broke his silence on the incident on X and shared that he would be checking himself into a rehabilitation center to recover.

“This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery,” he said at the time.

“I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery. I’m committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally,” Woods continued. “I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones, and myself at this time.”

Woods will reportedly be back in court on June 2.
