Tiger Woods goes ballistic in front of Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce after wild TGL moment

Travis and Jason Kelce have been having themselves quite the trip to Tiger Woods and Rory’s McIlroy’s virtual golf venture.

The pair spent some of the visit under the platforms that give the stars of the TGL (TMRW Golf League) the chance to tee off, play fairway and chip shots into a giant screen.

It made for plenty of high jinx, with the pair also joining the commentary booth to entertain those watching on.

But nobody was prepared for Tom Kim’s spectacular finale.

On Tuesday, with a playoff place on the line, Tom Kim of Woods’ Jupiter Links Golf Club sank an electric hole in one – the second in TGL history.

Entering the penultimate hole of the season, Jupiter Links – which also features Max Homa and Kevin Kisner – were trailing Bay Golf Club comprised of Ludvig Aberg, Wyndham Clark, Min Woo Lee, and Shane Lowry by one point.

Kim went all in, throwing down the double points hammer, knowing he needed the two points to claim a victory – and inflict more late agony on Lowry. who implouded down the stretch at the Cognizant on Sunday.

Inside Florida’s SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Kim stepped up knowing that if he lost the hole, his team’s season was over.

But when the pressure is at its highest, that’s when true stars come alive and deliver.

The 23-year-old South Korean flew his wedge shot over the flag, before the backspin kicked in, and the ball rolled backward into the hole.

Just one blow needed, and the hole-in-one – not surprisingly – could not be matched so Jupiter Links heading up the final hole not one behdin, but one in front.

There had been only one other hole in one in TGL history – but it did not have the drama of a season-saving one.

The reaction from his teammates said it all. It was absolute carnage as Woods and co went ballistic in celebration.

The tech-infused innovative indoor golf league was formed by sports executive Mike McCarley, alongside multiple major champions Woods and McIlroy in partnership with the PGA Tour in 2022, though only launched officially in 2025.

Woods – who sat out the 2026 TGL regular season as he continues to recover from back surgery – celebrated Kim’s shot as if he had holed it himself at Augusta.

His fist-pumping and arm waving disbelief was reminiscent of the scenes that greeted his iconic Masters celebrations after chipping in from off the 16th at hole .

With one hole still left to play, the match wasn’t done.

But after Kisner edged out Clark on the final hole, Jupiter Links kept their season alive, and will face McIlroy’s – who will soon begin his title defence at The Masters – Boston Common in the semifinals.

“I’ve never been tackled before,” Kim said postgame in reference to his teammates all jumping for joy together on that second-to-last hole.

“Best indoor experience ever,” 15-time major champion Woods added.

NFL icon get some tips from the GOAT

In attendance to watch the intense encounter between Jupiter Links and The Bay was NFL icon, and golf enthusiast, Jason Kelce.

Having posed the idea of possibly attending the TGL as his brother’s plus-one on a recent episode of the New Heights Podcast, Travis, the Kansas City Chiefs icon was also in attendance.

The brothers had previously shared their thoughts on the simulator league.

Just days prior, Jason had spoken of his excitement about getting to attend the event.

“I’ve heard from everybody how state-of-the-art and incredible the technology is, so I can’t wait to check it out firsthand,” Jason said.

“What Tiger and all those guys down at TGL have done is just remarkable.”

Prior to the contest on Tuesday night, the Philadelphia Eagles legend – who has also been serving as a guest announcer in the final few games of the season – was seen talking all things golf with one of the greatest to have ever played the sport.

Having not played in a major tournament since July 2024 , Woods has been busier with other ventures – like the TGL and he was mic’d up for his conversation with the eldest Kelce brother about grips.

“Keep your hands up. So you move as a triangle from here [pointing at his chest] to your hands,” Woods told Kelce.

“So it’s putting with the big muscles. All these kids have such bigger grips for their hand size. So I have a smaller grip which allows me to have more feel on my hands.

“I went to the bigger grips with every club because I had no hands,” ESPN analyst Kelce responded before adding, “And the more I’ve played, I like going a little bit smaller.”

“You have small hands for a big guy,” Woods added.

He was also seen acting out a swinging motion as Kelce watched on listening intently, before the roles reversed and the former 13-year-NFL veteran was seen thrusting his hands forward as if he were about to block an oncoming defensive lineman.

Meanwhile, Travis – whose future in the NFL is still very much up in the air as he mulls over retirement – was seen cracking jokes with Woods.

The brothers had to bide their time, though, as they revealed to Scott Van Pelt during the contest that they were going to get an opportunity at playing the technology afterwards.

“I think they’re [TGL] are kind enough that they’re going to let us take a couple of hacks at this,” Jason told Van Pelt.

“We played earlier today at Bear Lakes. Let me tell you, lakes is plural for a reason. I went through some balls, so hopefully I can redeem myself.

“I smoked him today,” Travis joked in reply.

At least with the TGL being an indoor format, Kelce’s risk of hitting a spectator is significantly reduced, having been left red in the face in February after hitting a fan in the face with his ball, not for the first time either.
