Three key England players miss training ahead of Norway clash as Jordan Henderson continues recovery
Declan Rice, Reece James and Marc Guehi have raised concern over their fitness by missing England training on Wednesday.
The Three Lions are gearing up to face Norway in Miami on Saturday for a place in just their fourth ever World Cup semi-final, live on talkSPORT.

But England have been dealt a blow in their preparations to three players who would be named in Thomas Tuchel‘s line-up if fit.
England announced on social media that Rice, James and Guehi were all working on individual programmes in Kansas City.
As for Jordan Henderson, he remains back at England’s team hotel after undergoing surgery to repair a broken radius.
The Brentford midfielder fell over the hoardings and injured his wrist while celebrating the 3-2 win over co-hosts Mexico in the last-16 at the Azetca Stadium.
Henderson has since issued an update on social media for the first time since suffering his freak World Cup-ending injury.
Tuch and go
Rice has been playing through the pain in North America, with Tuchel revealing last week how the Arsenal star requested to be taken off in the 2-1 win over DR Congo in the round of 32.
The 27-year-old missed England’s final Group L clash against Panama due to a calf injury he picked up in the 0-0 draw with Ghana, while he limped off during his side’s 4-2 opening win against Croatia.
Speaking last month, Rice declared that he has been battling nerve pain in his hamstring since December.
But he played the full match against Mexico in what was his 66th game of the 2025/26 season for club and country.
Though James‘ absence will be Tuchel’s biggest fear as England continue to be plagued by right-back issues.

talkSPORT reported two weeks ago how the Chelsea captain was dealing with another hamstring issue, which could rule him out of the knockouts.
James started in each of England’s opening two Group L matches, but hasn’t graced the pitch since the draw with Ghana on June 23.
To make the situation worse for Tuchel, his back-up Jarell Quansah, who has started twice in the global tournament, is suspended for the clash with Norway after being shown a straight red card against Mexico.
England’s issue in the position first started on the even of their opener against Croatia, with Tino Livramento forced to withdraw from the squad with a calf issue, which required him to go under the knife.
Should James fail to shake off his knock, Djed Spence will likely replace Quansah in the starting XI for his third start of the World Cup – and sixth outing of the competition.
As for Guehi, it remains unclear what issue is affecting him, with the Manchester City centre-back starting in the last four matches.

Should Guehi miss out on facing Norway, his ex-Citizens teammate John Stones would likely come in for him.
England know they will be coming up against a rampant Norway side, who have scored 12 goals so far the World Cup, with only France [14], Argentina [14] and Belgium [13] banging in more.
Erling Haaland has fired in seven of the goals from just four matches, with only Lionel Messi [eight] finding the back of the net on more occasions.
