Sunday’s betting tips
Bet of the Day – Hibs draw no bet v Hearts @ 1/1
Celtic, Hearts and Rangers are delivering a thrilling three-way Scottish Premiership title race, but it could be advantage to the Old Firm after this weekend’s action.
Hearts were beaten 2-0 at Easter Road in December and an Edinburgh derby in Leith is never going to be an easy fixture for the Jambos.
Derek McInnes’ men have taken only one point from their last four Scottish top-flight away games and that poor run has come in fixtures against St Mirren, Rangers, Kilmarnock and Livingston.
Collecting just a single point from two matches against Killie and Livingston has to be viewed as a disappointing return and an Easter Road tie against Hibs will surely demand more of Hearts.
David Gray’s men have lost only three of their last 16 league games, which includes victories over Celtic and Hearts and a 0-0 draw with Rangers.
Hibs look capable of leaving their city rivals heartbroken.
Special of the Day – Leeds or draw double chance and under 2.5 goals bet builder @7/4
Chelsea and Leeds meet at Wembley for a spot in the FA Cup final and the Blues look a woeful price.
It’s panic in west London, with Liam Rosenior the latest manager to depart Stamford Bridge and the former Hull gaffer has left behind a club in crisis.
A top-five Premier League finish now seems to be out of the question and Chelsea have lost seven of their last eight games.
The only victory in that dismal run was a FA Cup quarter-final success over struggling League One side Port Vale and the Blues have failed to even score a goal in six of their previous seven contests.
Perhaps there is a feeling that Chelsea have the quality to come good against Leeds, but there is basically no evidence that this Blues side is any better than the position they are in.
Leeds and the draw can be backed with under 2.5 goals in a 7/4 bet builder and that makes plenty of appeal.
Longshot of the Day – Juventus to beat Milan, Paris FC to beat Lille, Marseille to beat Nice treble @ 12/1
Milan are three points ahead of Juventus in the Serie A table, but Juve are the better team and they are in better form. The Old Lady have won five of their last six league games and Luciano Spalletti’s men can strike again.
Paris FC have been in flying form, beating Metz 3-1 last time out and Monaco 4-1 previously. The Parisians have lost only two of their last 15 games and the underdogs look to have a decent chance at Lille.
It’s only two wins in 20 Ligue 1 games for relegation-threatened Nice, and while Marseille haven’t been at their peak in recent weeks, the Phocaeans really should be winning in this spot.
