Super Bowl commercial giant Bud Light helps Lumen Field, Gillette Stadium celebrate
The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will square off in Super Bowl LX next Sunday afternoon, and all of the action will take place at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco (Santa Clara, but whatever).
For a little while it appeared like the San Francisco 49ers may have had a chance to be the third team ever to play a Super Bowl in their home stadium (the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams were the first two teams to do this, and they did it in back-to-back seasons), one of the interesting things about the Super Bowl is how it is mostly an impartial venue for the teams involved in it.
While this is the case, the home buildings for the teams playing in The Big Game are having a celebration of their own ahead of time. Bud Light, the Official Beer Sponsor of the NFL, is dropping hundreds of Super Bowl LX kegs at both Gillette Stadium and Lumen Field. Fans who are 21+ are invited to head to their home stadium on February 1st to try and win prizes. The grand prize is two Super Bowl LX tickets, which is pretty sweet.
Some of Bud Light’s Super Bowl commercials have already been released. Their ‘American Icons’ commercial features some unlikely animal friends, a Clydesdale and a bald eagle. And we’ve gotten a sneak peek at Payton Manning’s fourth Bud Light commercial, which also features Post Malone and Shane Gillis.
Bud Light is really leaning into Super Bowl LX, from the Lumen Field and Gillette Stadium events for fans, to dominating the commercial game while the Patriots and Seahawks do battle on the field.
