Skidding Mets get cold reception in chilly Queens
In the throes of an 11-game losing streak, the skidding New York Mets, in last place in the National League East, returned home Tuesday night to a quieter reception at Citi Field on a cold night in Queens, as they opened a series with the Minnesota Twins.
