Shailyn Pierre-Dixon in Eco-Dystopian Thriller Film 'The Well' Trailer

Quiver Distr. has revealed the official US trailer for an eco-thriller survival film titled The Well, a Canadian production from filmmaker Hubert Davis (director of Black Ice + upcoming Youngblood hockey movie). This already premiered at the Fantasia Film Festival in Canada and will be out on VOD in the US starting March. In a world where environmental collapse has left survivors to fight over the precious resources, a young woman's loyalties are tested by the arrival of a wounded man who learns her family has a secret supply of freshwater. Fantasia adds: "Steeped in tension and pathos, Davis builds a world where the threats aren’t made of fantasy; he acknowledges real environmental consequences and potential future in this riveting sci-fi thriller." The indie survival thriller stars Joanne Boland, Noah Lamanna, Sheila McCarthy, Steven McCarthy, and Shailyn Pierre-Dixon as Sarah Devine.
