Security on the scene as Jimmy Bullard and David Haye row with Ant and Dec in live TV chaos
Jimmy Bullard and David Haye were at the centre of a chaotic finale of I’m a Celeb on Friday night.
Tensions sparked during and after Friday night’s live finale with former Premier League midfielder Bullard at the centre of the controversy.
The ex-footballer and outspoken campmate David Haye clashed with hosts Ant and Dec, leading to fellow contestants Gemma Collins and Sinitta storming off set.
Bullard was angered after watching back the edit of his clash in camp with Adam Thomas that saw the Emmerdale star unleash an X-rated tirade at him.
Thomas has been accused of calling Bullard a ‘c***’ after the ex-Fulham star put the actor’s place on the show in jeopardy by quitting a Bushtucker Trial.
Campmates came together for the first time on Friday since the show was recorded eight months ago and Thomas was crowned the winner.
Bullard’s outburst
But much of the attention was taken away from him as Bullard addressed the elephant in the room.
He went around to each campmate and asked them if they thought Thomas’ behaviour was ‘aggressive and abusive’ after the actor directed the C-word multiple times at him.
However, Ant uncharacteristically stepped out of his impartial role as host and actively disagreed with Bullard’s claim – which clearly riled the former Premier League star.
Once the show had finished airing, Ant, along with wife Anne-Marie Corbett, was seen heading towards the exit but they were not quick enough to evade Bullard.
In photos obtained by The Sun, Bullard appeared to be attempting to get the presenter’s attention before a member of security stepped in to de-escalate the awkward exchange.
Ant then turned to Bullard to listen to what he had to say before making his way to his car.

It capped off a chaotic final night on the show as campmates reflected on the drama that had gone before them.
Bullard formed an alliance with ‘80s pop star Sinitta and former boxing world champion Haye who both showed their support for the football star.
The 47-year-old referred to Thomas’ actions as ‘a liberty’ while Haye stoked up further tension by demanding that Thomas explain why he used such strong language.
It all became too much for Sinitta who got up and walked off the stage after taking exception to Thomas’ actions and Ant’s perceived watering down of the incident.
As she walked off Sinitta could be heard telling the camera that Thomas was being ‘aggressive and abusive’.
The situation became tense and uncomfortable for viewers as The Only Way is Essex star Collins – and friend of Thomas – joined Sinitta in the back.
Ant and Dec did their best to retain order as the show began to lose control but even they appeared to lose their cool.
Mo Farah did his best to keep the peace by urging the campmates not to argue on the show’s grand finale.
