Scotland omit 17-goal Championship striker from World Cup squad in major shock
Scotland have named their 26-man squad for the World Cup, but Oli McBurnie has missed out.
The 29-year-old, who already has 17 national team caps, has not been chosen despite scoring 17 goals for Hull City in the Championship.

His last appearance for Scotland came five years ago in 2021, and he will now have to wait longer for his next one.
McBurnie could earn promotion to the Premier League as Hull are set to face Southampton in the play-off final on Saturday.
But that will be all for him this summer, with Scotland manager Steve Clarke opting for other names.
Che Adams, Lyndon Dykes, George Hirst, Lawrence Shankland and Ross Stewart have made the squad instead.
McBurnie has more Championship goals than Dykes (6), Hirst (11) and Stewart (8) this season.
Andy Robertson looks set to make his last appearance at a World Cup, with Scott McTominay also involved with the national team.
Scotland have been drawn in Group C, and will come up against Brazil, Morocco and Haiti.
