Retired former WWE champion makes decision to write book
Soon, fans will be able to read retired WWE Superstar Big E‘s story in a new book, making him the latest to write a memoir, joining recent authors like Becky Lynch and Natalya/Nattie.
PWInsider reports that Big E is currently writing his memoir, How I Got Over: Healing from Depression and Psychosis to Find Joy In and Out of the Ring.
When will retired WWE star Big E’s book come out?

PWInsider’s report states that Big E’s book is slated to come out in “early 2027.” So, fans will only have to wait less than a year to read it.
Big E has been retired since 2022. His last match took place during an episode of Friday Night SmackDown in March 2022. At one point, Ridge Holland delivered an overhead belly-to-belly suplex to the former WWE Champion.
It didn’t go right, as Big E was dropped on his head. He suffered a broken neck, among other injuries, and he has since joined WWE in a non-wrestling role as a pre-show analyst.
In December 2024, the New Day celebrated its 10th anniversary. Big E returned to celebrate with his stablemates, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston. However, they kicked him out of the group. The following October, he would announce his in-ring retirement.
He finished his career as a one-time WWE Champion, a two-time Intercontinental Champion, and an eight-time Tag Team Champion as part of the New Day. Additionally, he won the NXT Championship once in January 2013 from Seth Rollins.
Big E won the 2021 Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. He would cash in his contract a couple of months later during the Sep. 13 edition of Monday Night RAW on Bobby Lashley. He pinned Lashley, winning the WWE Championship for the first time.
His reign would last 110 days. He would lose it to Brock Lesnar at the Day 1 PLE on Jan. 1, 2022. He’d then be moved to SmackDown before his in-ring career was abruptly ended.
