Raul Jimenez Next Destination Has Been Revealed?

Raul Jimenez has no intention of leaving Europe, as he is determined to continue his career there despite being linked to his former club, Club America.

However, an extension of his contract largely depends on whether Fulham qualifies for a European competition next year.

Will entry into a European competition decide Jimenez’s next career move?

According to journalist Ruben Rodriguez, the 34-year-old will look to extend his stay at Craven Cottage if Fulham secure European football for next season, particularly if it is the Europa League or Champions League.

The Cottagers are currently 7th in the Premier League table with 34 points, along with Everton, who are 8th with the same points tally.

What separates Everton and Fulham,
9th-place Brentford, 10th-place Newcastle United, and 11th-place Sunderland is one point.

As the season progresses, the competition will become even more cutthroat, leaving no room for error. Fulham will be looking to collect as many points as possible in the upcoming games and secure a European competition spot for next season.

Jimenez has had his moments since joining Fulham from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2023, scoring 27 goals in 99 competitive matches.

Despite being linked to a return to Mexican side Club America, where he made over 103 appearances. Jimenez is crystal clear that he prefers to stay in Europe rather than entertain a move back to his former club. Embed from Getty Images

Despite his age, Jimenez’s goal-scoring prowess is one of his biggest assets, and it can still be of great use to Fulham.

It will be interesting to see how his contract situation with Fulham pans out, as a move away from the club could be on the cards if there is no progress on a contract extension.

In other news, Fulham completes £27m signing of Manchester City forward Oscar Bob. They were eager to sign a winger to fill in the gap left by Adam Traore’s exit to West Ham and the news of Harry Wilson’s possible departure on a free transfer this upcoming summer.

The agreement contains a 20 per cent sell-on clause, and City also have matching rights should Fulham sell Bobb, who has signed a five-and-a-half-year deal at Craven Cottage, on to another club.

Fulham have captured the signing of a talented winger who can eventually come up the ranks and deliver through the wings.
