Rangers put Shesterkin on IR, dodge 'worst case'
The New York Rangers placed goaltender Igor Shesterkin on injured reserve, and defenseman Adam Fox on long-term injured reserve, but sources told ESPN's Emily Kaplan on Tuesday that the club avoided the worst-case scenario with its top netminder.
