PGA Championship 2026 LIVE: Dates, schedule, location, leaderboard and how to follow action from Aronimink
Scottie Scheffler will once again be the favourite as the 2026 PGA Championship heads to Philadelphia next week.
Scheffler was brilliant at Quail Hollow Club last year, beating Bryson DeChambeau by five strokes to secure the Wanamaker Trophy.

He will now be eyeing glory again at Aronimink Golf Club for the 108th edition of the PGA Championship.
Rory McIlroy, champion in 2012 and 2014, will be looking for glory once more, following his stunning back-to-back victories at the Masters.
DeChambeau will hope to contend after his poor showing at Augusta, while a host of other top names will be eyeing glory.
The PGA Championship is famous for having the deepest field in golf, meaning whoever wins at Aronimink will have earned it.

It remains to be seen if Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson or John Daly will take part.
The PGA Championship differs from the other three majors in the fact that no amateur players compete and instead, the tournament includes 20 PGA Professionals.
The PGA of America typically also hand out a large number of special invites to make sure all household name players are in the field, regardless of qualification criteria, with Dustin Johnson among those handed an invitation this year.
The full field will be confirmed soon, while the tee times and groupings will be announced on the Tuesday of tournament week.
The live leaderboard from Aronimink can be found here once play is up and running.
The prize pot for the event is yet to be confirmed, but last year was set at $19million with Scheffler taking home $3.42m as champion.

PGA Championship 2026: Course info
Aronimink Golf Club has been off the major tournament rotation for several decades, but it is a historic course in America.
It last hosted a major in 1962 when Grand Slam legend Gary Player won the PGA Championship.
It has held several PGA Tour events in recent years, as well as the 2020 Women’s PGA Championship.
Opened in 1896, the Donald Ross-designed course underwent a Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner renovation in 2018 and is a clever mix of shorter, strategic par 4s, two gettable par 5s and a string of brutal par 3s.
It has over 200 bunkers and is laid out over very hilly terrain.

The notable holes include the first – an intimidating opener which plays through a valley and steeply up to the green – as well as the picturesque 5th hole, the challenging 11th uphill par-4 and the stunning 17th par-3 over water.
For this major, only one of the four par 3s will play below 215 yards, while the finishing hole has been lengthened for the event and will be a tricky finale.
Aronimink is famous for its row of deck chairs overlooking the 18th green – it remains to be seen who will get to sit in the best seats in the house coming tournament week.
PGA Championship 2026: What has been said?
Scheffler was in imperious form last year with his Saturday round of 65 helping him ease to victory on the final day.
Scheffler credited his mentality at Quail Hollow for getting the job done and he’ll no doubt be tough to beat again this year.
“I always try to lean as much as I can on my mind,” said Scheffler after his winning round last year.
“I think that’s probably my greatest strength. You know, like today and this week I really just feel like I did just such a good job of staying patient when I wasn’t swinging it my best but I hit the shots when I needed to.
“I hit the important shots well this week, and that’s why I’m walking away with the trophy.
“This back nine will be one that I remember for a long time. It was a grind out there. I think at one point on the front I maybe had a four or five-shot lead, and making the turn, I think I was tied for the lead.
“So to step up when I needed to the most, I’ll remember that for a while.”
