Patrick Surtain II gets $5 million raise after first year of mega extension
The Denver Broncos will have incredibly high expectations in 2026. Denver nearly made the Super Bowl last season despite Bo Nix going down with an injury. One Broncos veteran just got a little extra motivation to play well during the upcoming season.
The Broncos and superstar cornerback Pat Surtain II agreed on a contract adjustment on Tuesday, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Surtain gets a $5 million raise in 2026 and a chance to make another $5 million in 2027 with a Pro Bowl or All-Pro selection.
This adjustment comes during the first year of Surtain’s four-year, $96 million extension, which he signed in 2024.
More on this story to come.
