Olivia Miles sounds off on joining Unrivaled right before 2026 WNBA Draft
The 2026 WNBA offseason is off and running at full speed. WNBA free agency has already included some surprising moves, and the 2026 WNBA Draft is just one day away. TCU’s Olivia Miles, one of the top prospects in this year’s class, just made an announcement one day away from the draft.
Miles signed a multiyear deal with Unrivaled on Sunday ahead of the draft, per ESPN’s Kendra Andrews. She will join one of Unrivaled’s main clubs next winter during the league’s third season.
Miles previously joined Unrivaled via an NIL deal as part of the league’s inaugural The Future is Unrivaled class. Other top prospects from that class include Azzi Fudd, Lauren Betts, and Flau’jae Johnson.
“After I did the Future is Unrivaled … this seemed like a style of play I could adjust to well and something I wanted to be a part of as a piece of women’s basketball history,” Miles said.
Miles understands that Unrivaled is a completely different game than 5-on-5 basketball. Not only is Unrivaled a 3-on-3 league, but it also features a smaller court to compensate.
But Miles is confident that her basketball IQ will aid in her transition to Unrivaled next winter.
“I love having a lot of space, and obviously, with having just three players on the court, it’s a lot more space … it’s a lot of quick decisions which I thrive with,” Miles added. “It’s a shorter court, so I can get up the court quicker and I can throw pull-court passes easier. I’m excited to throw the ball everywhere.”
She is also confident that having one season of WNBA experience under her belt will help with the transition.
It will be exciting to see where Miles lands in the 2026 WNBA Draft. Coverage begins at 7PM ET on Monday April 13th.
