Dogwoof & A24 have unveiled the official trailer for the acclaimed documentary film titled André Is an Idiot, which arrives in theaters this March after first premiering at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival a year ago. André Ricciardi, a brilliant idiot, is dying because he didn't get a colonoscopy. His sobering diagnosis, sheer irreverence, & insatiable curiosity, send him on an unexpected journey learning how to die happily and ridiculously without losing his sense of humor. This fascinating and enchanting doc film tries to be an uplifting look at cancer and the reflection's of this man after his diagnosis. I saw this last year and wrote a great review of it here. Sundance adds: "André is an Idiot is a hilarious portrait of a unique human being who goes on the journey we all must go on and learns that endings, while heart-wrenching and final, can be an opportunity for gratitude and joy for the path taken."
