NFL rumors: Jay Glazer teases huge trade before 2026 draft

The 2026 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, and the rumor mill is essentially on fire at this point. With buzz and speculation running rampant, insider Jay Glazer throws more fuel on the fire with his latest comments about knowing of a possible trade.

During a guest appearance on “Wake Up Barstool,” Glazer, who is 56 years old, teased that he knows of a massive trade that is going to take place during the NFL Draft. He wouldn’t name any teams and admitted he is not allowed to say anymore until a specific franchise is on the clock on Thursday night.

“I know something is happening, I just can’t say it yet,” said Glazer when asked what the juiciest bit of information he has before the draft. “I was told I can’t say it until we are getting on the clock.”

That really could mean anything. It seems like the first two picks of the draft are locked in, as the Las Vegas Raiders are widely expected to select quarterback Fernando Mendoza, and the New York Jets seem happy with selecting whoever they feel is the best available player at No. 2 overall.

The Arizona Cardinals have generated plenty of rumors leading up to the NFL Draft with the No. 3 pick, as the franchise has been connected to Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back Jeremiyah Love in just the past several days. The Cardinals, along with the Tennessee Titans (pick No. 4) and New York Giants (pick No. 5), have been heavily involved in trade buzz around the league.

Every answer to every question about the first round will be answered on Thursday evening. The 2026 NFL Draft is set to begin at 8 p.m. EST with the Raiders first on the clock.
