Former Juventus manager Tudor was only appointed as Tottenham’s manager four weeks ago on a four month contract until the end of the season to try and steady the ship following the sacking of Thomas Frank, who took over in the summer from Brentford.
The Croatian took over with the north London side just five points above the relegation zone, but defeats in each of his four matches in charge has seen that gap cut to just one point and a 5-2 hammering at Atletico Madrid on Tuesday sees them facing a Champions League exit.
Tuesday’s loss in Spain saw the club fall to a sixth consecutive defeat for the first time in the club’s history, and with the small matter of a trip to Anfield to come on Sunday, followed by the return leg of their Champions League last 16 clash with Atletico, the situation doesn’t appear to be getting any better.
14 goals conceded in Tudor’s four games in charge, including seven across his two home games have got people suggesting that the 47-year-old’s days are numbered, with the club sinking down the Premier League table and the teams around them all picking up points in recent weeks.
If rumours are to be believed, former Spurs manager Redknapp could be approached to given the task and steering the club out of the relegation battle, nine years on from his last managerial job and 14 years on from his departure as Tottenham boss in his previous spell.
The 79-year-old has experience of taking over the north London side in relegation battle, having joined the club when they were sat rock bottom of the table eight games into the 2008-09 season in his previous stint at the club.
Redknapp improved Spurs’ results immediately, winning five of his first six matches in charge and ended up securing an eighth place finish, also reaching the final of the EFL Cup, and led the side to two four finishes in the next three seasons before his departure.
The 2008 FA Cup winning manager’s last job in the game was as manager of Birmingham, when he was appointed as Blues boss with just three matches of the season remaining with his side sat precariously just three points above the drop zone in the Championship.
Redknapp won two of the last three games of the season to secure Championship survival, and subsequently signed a one-year contract extension, only to be sacked eight games into the following season after a run of six consecutive defeats.

Sean Dyche is priced as the 2/1 favourite to be named the next Tottenham manager, having previously successfully navigated relegation battles at Burnley and Everton in the Premier League.
The 54-year-old has been out of a job for the last month after he was sacked, to the surprise of many, as Nottingham Forest manager with the club three points clear of the relegation zone after just one defeat from his last five games in charge.
Mauricio Pochettino is also being linked with a return to north London after having managed almost 300 games for the club across a five year period between 2014 and 2019, with his return currently priced at 3/1 with talkSPORT BET.
The Argentinian helped the club cement their place in the ‘Big Six’ clubs in England, leading them to second place league finish, their highest since 1963, and took the club to their first ever Champions League final, as well as two Carabao Cup finals.
Ultimately the 53-year-old failed to win the club any silverware, which could lead the former PSG and Chelsea manager to feel his Tottenham journey isn’t quite finished.
Pochettino is currently managing the USA national team ahead of their home World Cup this summer so in all likelihood wouldn’t be available to Spurs till after it, when his contract in the States runs out.
Roberto de Zerbi is also linked with a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium having surprisingly left his role as Marseille manager last month.
The 46-year-old enjoyed previous success in England as manager of Brighton, taking the Seagulls to their first ever top six top flight finish in his first season in charge and taking them to the knockout stages of the Europa League in his second.
De Zerbi then headed to the south of France to take over a Marseille side who’d just finished eighth in Ligue 1, delivering them a second placed finish last season, before departing the club on Tuesday night with club fifth in the French standings.
Former Tottenham striker Robbie Keane is the joint third favourite, along with de Zerbi, to be named as Tudor’s successor, the Irishman having spent eight and a half years as a player for the north London side, scoring 122 goals in 306 appearances for the club.
The 45-year-old is currently enjoying his time managing Hungarian side Ferencvaros, winning the league title for the Budapest side last season after taking over 12 months ago, and has taken the side into the knockout stages of the Europa League.
Other names priced slightly further afield for the role are Ryan Mason, who has managed Tottenham already across two caretaker stints, and has been out of a job since his sacking as West Brom manager in January, at Andoni Iraola, who is currently enjoying success as Bournemouth manager.
