New Trailer for Jim Henson's 'Labyrinth' 40th Anniversary Re-Release

Fathom Entertainment has unveiled a new trailer for the classic Jim Henson fantasy adventure movie Labyrinth, which is celebrating its 40th Anniversary in 2026. The Jim Henson Company is bringing Jim Henson's and George Lucas' 1986 epic fantasy movie Labyrinth, from Sony Pictures and starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly, back to theatres and remastered in 4K for its 40th anniversary on January 8th to 11th (4 nights of screenings!). The re-release events includes a special featurette celebrating the fans of Labyrinth, filmed on location at the UK’s recent “Labyrinth Experience & Masked Ball." Along with a special intro from Brian Henson, Chairman of The Jim Henson Company and son of Jim Henson, and the voice of the grumpy dwarf-goblin "Hoggle" in the classic film. Labyrinth stars 14-year-old Jennifer Connelly in her original breakthrough role as Sarah, a teenager searching through a magical maze to rescue her baby stepbrother from The Goblin King. Anyone who grew up in the 80s has this as one of their childhood favorites. A perfect chance to view it on the big screen again.
