Nets make $6.25 million free-agency decision on 24-year-old SF
The Brooklyn Nets have made moves this offseason that show they’re ready to take the next step with the young core they have. Unfortunately, some players will not be able to come along on the ride, and this is what their latest move with Ziaire Williams signaled.
“The Brooklyn Nets will decline their $6.25 million team option on Ziaire Williams, league sources told HoopsHype. The 24-year-old forward averaged 10.2 points in 56 games played for Brooklyn last season. Williams will become an unrestricted free agent,” Michael Scotto of HoopsHype wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
