NBA’s Taylor Swift post sparks wild reactions amid Knicks-Spurs finals

This time, Taylor Swift was both cheer captain and on the bleachers.

Swift was present at Madison Square Garden in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday to root for the New York Knicks against the San Antonio Spurs, joining the glitzy constellation of starry celebrities at courtside.

The contest was the hottest ticket in town, and Swift did not want to miss the opportunity to support her team. She went to the game along with her fellow musicians, Este Haim and Alana Haim.

The NBA posted a video of the 36-year-old pop icon blowing a kiss to the camera. It earned a lot of, um, interesting comments, to say the least. As of writing, it has garnered 6.8 million views.

“The way she pretends to root for the Knicks. What an embarrassment,” said @Therealkurt24.

Swift has watched the Knicks at Madison Square Garden in the past. In a report from Time Magazine, she revealed that she became a fan of the squad because of Amar’e Stoudemire.

Last month, she attended Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers at Rocket Arena.

Swift moved to New York in 2014 and now owns multiple properties in the city.
