Moses Itauma vs Jermaine Franklin LIVE: Date, start time, undercard and how to follow Magnificent 7 card
Moses Itauma will look to make a statement with his return to the ring against Jermaine Franklin next weekend.
The rising star was set to headline Queensberry’s first boxing event of the new year as he faced a former Anthony Joshua rival at Magnificent 7.

But their clash has been postponed due to Itauma suffering an injury while in training.
It has since been confirmed that March 28 will be Itauma’s first appearance after breezing through Dillian Whyte to claim a knockout win in under two minutes in August.
His next opponent, Franklin, is on a three-fight win streak after losing to two-time heavyweight champion Joshua in 2023.
While Franklin is hoping to be the first man to hand him a defeat, Itauma is out to extend his perfect record following the two-month delay.
Doing so would move the 21-year-old one step closer to achieving his goal of challenging the likes of Oleksandr Usyk and Fabio Wardley.

Itauma vs Franklin: What has been said?
Founder of Queensberry, Frank Warren, is hosting the Magnificent 7 card as part of his celebrations for being a licensed British boxing promoter for 45 years.
He said: “We are thrilled to be delivering such a strong Magnificent 7 bounty for the fans in our first UK show of 2026.
“It is a statement of intent for the New Year and a sign of things to come…
“This show will also effectively celebrate my 45th year in the professional business, and I believe this card certainly does justice to the occasion.
“I am very happy to have our heavyweight prodigy, Moses, topping the bill in another perfect test of his unquestionable credentials against a very tough American in Jermain Franklin.”
During the launch press conference for their fight, Itauma said: “Jermaine Franklin is a great fighter, the guy has just come off a great win with Ivan Dychko.
“I mean, the reason why everyone feels it’s a perfect fight is because what he does well there are question marks on my career.
“I believe this fight is the best for my development but not only that, it’s like I can finally shut a few people up.

“This is the only one that I’m not trying to get answered is ‘How is Moses Itauma’s chin?’, nobody is going to answer that.”
Franklin said: “I’ve come to show that I’m a fighter, I’m a warrior.
I’m a warrior every time in and out of the ring, and I’ve come to show the fans that.
“It’s fuel to the fire, I’ve been proving people wrong my whole life. It’s nothing new.
“In my opinion, Moses is a great fighter. He’s got a lot of potential so I really can’t answer that if it’s too soon for him.
“Him and his team work on what they work on, and they know what they do. I just say be prepared to come fight, nothing is easy.”
