Johnny’s Jury

Johnny’s Jury was a big winner ahead of Pourquoi Pas Papa at Exeter in January, forging on well to win by over nine lengths.

That form has worked out well with that horse winning next time out and placing a decent second at Haydock on Saturday behind a mare who placed second in listed company on debut.

The Owners Group-owned rival Kilnesare Flight also has lots of potential with form on a similar level, but the favourite won so well on debut suggesting there’s more to come from this six-year-old.

Here Comes Georgie

Nice each-way price for this eight-year-old in a wide open contest largely against inconsistent or new chasers.

This horse has placed in the top three in three of his last five runs and warrants a closer look hoping to bounce back, back down in grade from a tough run at Ascot in December.

Saint Davy

Westerninthepark remains of interest but he’s not quite been the same since Cheltenham last year, he’s a promising chaser so long as he can get back to form.

Saint Davy looks a great option here at 7/2, more chase experience than Ayiko and has shown great form over fences before including when close up to Handstands on chase debut.

Nudged down in the weights since then too and a promising return last time out, could see more from him here considering he was a horse with hopes for more progression over fences.
